SADASA's Chairman, Dr Mervyn McMurtry's, engaging report in 2025 examines our changing, devloping world and discusses the importance of keeping the Arts and Humanity Studies in the education of young people. The development of a person's powers to visualise and their capacity of origninal thought and for relating themselves through personal feelings to their environment, is often blocked during adolescent years. He reiterates a belief that Speech and Drama is a basic tool in the development of all children's powers of thought, imagination and communication.
